Endel Uiga took his first photograph using a simple box camera with glass plate. That was 75 years ago. Now, after thousands of hours in a darkroom and numerous courses and seminars with leading photographic artists (including Ansel Adams), he is qualified to teach college-level courses on Photographic Processes. Currently, Endel is applying his trade by capturing the beauty and grandeur of the New Jersey Skyland Area. His favorite photographic subjects are those with unusual highlights and shadows, forms and shapes, and colors and shades, that go unnoticed by most bystanders.
