Jessica Alava studied jewelry design at The Fashion Institute, The New School, and the 92nd Street "Y" in New York City. Each piece she designs and creates is unique, handcrafted and original, for no matter how popular a piece may be, she refuses to make duplicates. Jessica uses wonderful and unusual mixes of mediums and textures, such as silver with sea shells, antique crystals with silver, glass beads with copper balls, jade and silver, peridot with pearls, and rose quartz with blue cats eye and pink glass beads. All the stones Jessica uses are precious and semi-precious or antique. All the silver is sterling, and the gold is 18kt.
