Karen Garson

Karen is a seasoned watercolor artist who is well known for her detailed renderings of historical architecture and bold florals. Her newest works are abstract and semi-abstract in nature with a concentration on color and movement. Karen's paintings capture the joy of life and convey a sense of peace and well being to the viewer.
A recent addition to Karen's artistic expression is quilting. She executes her quilts in a variety of designs and has been influenced by the patterns of the Underground Railroad quilts as well as bold, contemporary design and color.
Karen's work has won numerous awards and is in private and public collections throughout the United States. Karen's work is available by commission or at her permanent collection in Gallery 23.
