Linda Patalive began her creative work with fabric by batiking on cotton. Later her interest moved to silk because of the rich, vibrant colors. She now uses many techniques, including batik, silk screening, stamping, discharging and silk painting. A combination of these methods produces a layered look and one-of-a-kind pieces. Linda’s work includes scarves, blouses, jackets and wall pieces, which are often embellished with hand stitching, beads or metallic accents.
